Workshops
Want to know more about a particular educational issue or teaching technique? CEASP can provide workshops for your chapter on your campus! Draw from our pool of experienced educators andCEA staff, who can offer workshops on topics such as learning styles, more effective lesson design, thriving (and surviving!) in your first years of teaching, mainstreaming special education students, legal responsibilities of teachers, and much more! Click here to see a partial listing of workshops you can bring to your campus!

Conferences to keep you up-to-date
Keeping up with what's new in the profession can be overwhelming. That's why CEASP offers special conferences designed especially for students! In addition, as a CEASP member, you have the opportunity to attend any conference CEA helps to sponsor, whether on a local, state, or regional level, at a reduced student registration price!

Networking opportunities
No matter how you prefer to do it, CEASP offers you the opportunity to network with other students and teachers throughout the state. This is a great way to pick up ideas for your first classroom, solve problems, have key questions answered, and strengthen your ties to your profession!

Leadership skill development
It's never too early to identify, develop, and fine-tune your leadership skills - they will serve you well in the classroom! As a CEASP member, you have the opportunity to develop leadership skills as you work with your campus chapter, the state organization, and the NEA Student program.

Tips on resume writing, job searching, and interviewing
Searching for your first teaching position is exciting, but can be a bit intimidating. How can you write a resume that is professional-looking, but stands out from others'? What steps should you follow when looking for a position? What are some of the basic "do's and don't's" of interviewing? Click here to find out!

Practice Makes Perfect! Program
One of the best ways to prepare for interviewing for your first teaching position is to practice. Call on CEASP's Practice Makes Perfect! program to go through mock interviews with real teachers and administrators who have served on district interview teams! You'll receive feedback and suggestions of how you can have the best interviews possible!

Benefits from CEA and NEA
As a CEASP member, you're entitled to the member benefits afforded to CEA and NEA members, including a $1 million liability insurance policy that covers you when you work in schools! And that's just the beginning!

Joining CEASP
Joining CEASP is easy! Contact your chapter officers for enrollment information, or join online via the NEA Student Program web site.
