Little Free Library Challenge

Help spread the love of reading in your community and get books into the hands of kids with CEF’s Little Free Library Challenge. In honor of Read Across Connecticut, the Connecticut Education Foundation (CEF) is offering 20 Little Free Library kits and books to districts that apply. Priority will be given to Alliance Districts.

CEA members can apply for a Little Free Library kit and a book donation or just a book donation. If you commit to building your own Little Free Library without Foundation resources your district may be awarded a book donation to go in the Little Free Library.

Get your students involved to build a Little Free Library for your community. It’s a great project for after-school clubs or STEM or career and technical education classes.

Your Information

Please be as specific as possible.

Ideally a group of students will build the library–for example a shop class, STEM class, or afterschool club–but it could also be assembled by a building rep council, grade level team, PTO group, etc.
