The Henry Barnard Fund
Henry Barnard Fund helps retired teachers who are experiencing financial difficulty — especially teachers who retired before the Enhancement Act was passed. Click here for inquiries or donations.
While the Constitution and Bylaws of CEA-Retired guide the organization’s internal functioning, it is subject to the CEA Board of Directors and its governing documents. Two CEA-Retired officers, the President and Vice-President, serve on the CEA Board with the Secretary of CEA-Retired serving as a Vice-Chair.
Every three years CEA-Retired members elect their four principal officers. Members of the Advisory Council are elected each year at the Annual Meeting in staggering terms. An alternate is elected each year at the Annual Spring Meeting.
