May Day
May 1

May Day has long been recognized around the world as International Workers’ Day, rooted in the 1886 fight for the eight‑hour workday and the Haymarket events in Chicago. It stands as an enduring symbol of worker solidarity, collective action, and the sacrifices that built the labor rights we defend today.
This year, we are asking CEA Members to proudly wear their solidarity swag. Grab your favorite CEA shirt or any other union-supportive garb to show your kinship with fellow CEA Members and union friends around the world. Tag us in your photos or send them to [email protected] to potentially be featured on our social media channels.
