
Gail is a dedicated educator with over 20 years of experience serving students, families, and communities. Throughout her career, Gail has taught across diverse classrooms ranging from third-to-sixth grade and is deeply committed to equitable, high-quality education for all students.
In addition to her work in the classroom, Gail is an active leader in education advocacy. She recently served as the president of the Bloomfield Education Association, where she represented and supported fellow educators, collaborated with district leadership, and advocated for strong schools, fair working conditions, and student-centered policies. At the state level, she serves as the secretary of the Connecticut Education Association helping guide state-wide initiatives, support local affiliates, and strengthen the collective voice of educators.
Gail is known for her collaborative leadership style, strong organizational skills, and commitment to empowering educators to be leaders in their schools and communities. She believes that supporting educators is essential to supporting students and ensuring the future of public education.
