ATTENTION ALL GOLFERS!
In 1994, an idea was born to host a golf tournament that would raise money for The Children’s Fund to assist Connecticut’s needy schoolchildren. Connecticut’s teachers often found themselves spending their own money to help their neediest students to buy clothing, school supplies, food, medical provisions, etc. — the basic necessities that their own families could not afford. But through The Children’s Fund, teachers could use monies raised to help these very students.
Since the tournament was founded, there have been golfers who have participated in every tournament. There have been foursomes who are steadfast in their commitment to showing up time and again. And there are new golfers every year who come to have fun and support the fund. In over 20 years, the Tournament has raised over $522,000 because of your generosity. One hundred percent of this money goes directly to The Children’s Fund.
