Give your school’s athletes a sporting chance with a Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant.
The California Casualty Thomas R. Brown Athletics Grant was established to support public school sports programs impacted by reduced budgets. As an employee of the school and a member of the National Education Association, you can apply for a grant for your school’s sports program.
Last year’s recipients included Danbury High School, as well as Waterbury’s Crosby High School, which used their grant to purchase a tackling and blocking sled to increase football player safety.
The deadline for this year’s applications is January 15, 2019, and award amounts range from $1,000 to $3,000.
