Join CEA’s Virtual Listening Forums and share your views on the teaching models in your district.
Are you engaged in full in-person learning, a hybrid model, full distance learning, synchronous/asynchronous learning, or a mix of these? Are you sharing resources or pooling remote learners? What does your planning time look like? What is the impact on you and your students?
We know that many educators don’t have the resources they need, and when job demands become unsustainable, the result is anxiety, stress, and eventually burnout. That’s why we need to hear directly from you regarding what’s working and what’s not.
The information you share will help develop appropriate instructional models at the state and local levels that prioritize safety and provide teachers with the time they need to plan, develop, and deliver high-quality lessons.
We understand that you are busy, so we have scheduled different dates and times for the listening forums. We hope you can participate on one of these dates and share your stories.
Working together, we can help shape how parents and administrators support teachers during this pandemic and make teaching and learning better with less screen time, more engagement, and additional resources and planning time for teachers to do what they do best: teach.
Together we are stronger and can make education better during this pandemic.
