DCF Commissioner Listens,
Addresses Teachers’ Concerns
DCF Commissioner Vannessa Dorantes and several of her key staff members joined CEA members for a Q&A meeting on October 7, 2019. The commissioner and her staff listened and responded to teachers’ concerns on a host of topics, including mandated reporting issues, overreporting by administrators, retaliatory reports against teachers, seatbelt reporting, increased DCF investigations, and more.
