These last few months, we
- Won a key victory for educators, signing into law a requirement that you receive the same fair process in termination proceedings as every other school employee
- Teed up for students, swinging hundreds of golf clubs and raising tens of thousands of dollars for The Children’s Fund, supporting students experiencing poverty or other hardships
- Held our bellies with laughter and our heads high “unioning” at CEA’s 2026 Summer Conference, with guest comedian Devin Siebold
- Got up to speed on Supreme Court decisions affecting our LGBTQ+ students and learned how we can keep supporting them
- Honored some exceptional educators who do just that—stand up for students and others who may be underrepresented or underserved
