CEA staff offer workshops for members all year round – even during the summer. Recently field representatives Michele Ridolfi O’Neill and Gayle Hooker organized a resume workshop for members who have lost teaching positions.
Torrington Human Resources Director Bill Joslyn also presented at the workshop, which covered job search suggestions, how to structure a resume, cover letter stragegies, and interviewing tips. The workshop was held in Middletown and was free to members searching for employment.
CEA offers 28 different workshops and mini-sessions during the annual Summer Leadership Conference. Over 600 participants have already registered for Summer Leadership, which takes place August 3-5 this year.
There has never been a Summer Leadership where I did not learn a lot, either about my Association duties, teaching or got some personal development; everyone should try it!
