From the state’s wealthiest district to its poorest, every teacher knows a child whose family is struggling.
You can put a smile on the face of a student this holiday season by nominating him or her for the Connecticut Education Foundation’s annual gift-giving campaign, Holiday Bear. More than 10,000 Connecticut public school students, from preschool through high school, have benefited from the holiday program since it began in 1998.
Nominating a child is easy! Log in and fill out a simple form at www.cea.org/cef/holiday-bear/, letting us know your student’s favorite things. You may nominate more than one student, but you must be a CEA member to submit a nomination. The deadline for nominations is October 12.
Every student receives a sponsor who purchases gifts listed on your nomination form. The gifts are then delivered to your school in time for the holidays.
