More than 14,000 educators and community supporters signed the Safe and Successful Schools Now petition that we presented to the governor last week.
Please continue your efforts, and contact your legislators through our ONE-STOP ACTION SITE in a push for Governor Lamont to require school districts to provide:
- Remote teaching opportunities to educators who are quarantined and special paid quarantine leave for all educators and school staff
- Paid leave for school employees who must take time to care for a child whose school or childcare provider is unavailable for reasons related to COVID-19
