Sara Azukas is one such new teacher who recently began her career teaching art in Region 15.
Azukas is the past chair of CEA’s Aspiring Educator Program, and she chatted about the transition to the classroom with CEA President Kate Dias and Vice President Joslyn DeLancey in the most recent episode of CEA’s podcast, Two T’s in a Pod.
In their conversation, which took place before the beginning of the school year in August, they also discussed the many advantages of CEA’s Aspiring Educator Program and talked about how the union supports young teachers as they begin their careers.
