Governor Lamont’s current mask mandate for schools expires February 15, and CEA wants to know where members stand on the issue. Be on the lookout for a SurveyMonkey email from CEA President Kate Dias with a survey going out to all members.
Next week legislators are taking up the issue of whether to extend masking in schools, and teachers’ opinions could influence their decision. Please complete the CEA survey—it will only take a few minutes of your time.
If you do not see the survey email by Saturday evening, please check all of your email addresses and spam folders. The survey will be sent to the personal email address you have on file with CEA. If you do not have a personal email address on file with CEA, the email may go to your work account. Emails from CEA are occasionally blocked by school email servers; therefore, it is important to update your CEA member profile with your personal email address. That way, you will never miss an important communication.
Please don’t wait. The survey will close at 8 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7.
