Many educators and our allies are supporting this Saturday’s Hands Off! national day of action to lift our collective voices against the continued assault on our freedoms and communities, including our public schools.
There are Hands Off! rallies organized by volunteers in towns around Connecticut—find an event near you.
The April 5, national mass activation in defiance of assault on our freedoms and our communities is an all-in moment for the pro-democracy, pro-worker movement—a demand, a warning, and a rallying cry.
This movement is for everyone mobilized by the attacks on democracy, demolition of public education, slashing of jobs, invasion of privacy, or assault on our services. Hands Off! is setting out to build a massive, visible, national rejection of this crisis. Organizers’ goal is to show that the people—the majority—are taking action to stop the corruption and power grab.
