Voters turned out in cities and towns across Connecticut yesterday. Thank you to all of you who voted in local elections and made your voice heard!
Voters elected many public education friendly candidates to offices in towns including Coventry, Danbury, East Hampton, Killingly, and Middletown.
Among those education friendly candidates were active and retired CEA members who overwhelmingly won their elections to local boards of education, planning commissions, and town councils. Twenty-three of the 25 CEA members who were running for office won their elections last night. See the full list of CEA members elected below.
