We hope that you can take a moment this week to pause and reflect on all you’ve accomplished this year. The days leading up to Thanksgiving can be demanding—requiring balancing the needs of your students while managing everything else on your plate—yet you continue to go the extra mile for your students with unwavering dedication. Our new ad campaign shows the public the critical work you do on behalf of your students every day.
As you gather with loved ones, we want to remind you just how far your impact reaches. In classrooms across the state, you make sure students feel valued, supported, and inspired. The lessons you teach and the support you provide are fundamental to students’ educational experience as well as to their sense of self and their future. Your impact on your students, past and present, reaches further than you may realize—extending through families, communities, and even generations.
Teaching is a profession that changes countless lives; however, the demands of this calling can be immense. We hope this Thanksgiving offers you the chance to rest, recharge, and reconnect with the people and traditions that bring you joy.
