This November, we have the chance to elect candidates who will determine the future of public education. Enter NEA’s contest and design a postcard that encourages everyone to vote and support candidates who stand with students and educators.
The winning design will be sent as Get Out the Vote digital postcards for the 2022 Midterm Elections. Enter by June 13.
First place receives a $2,500 cash prize and a donation of $500 in art supplies to the winner’s school. Second place receives a $1,000 cash prize, and the third place winner will get a $500 cash prize.
In 2020, Waterbury art teacher Sabrina Del Negro won second place in NEA’s postcard art contest. Her winning entry is pictured above.
“I wanted to spread the word to remind people to share their voice and go out and vote,” she said. “Voting is important at all levels, especially when it comes to education.”
