December is here and you can act now to help out a child in need this holiday season. By donating to the Connecticut Education Foundation’s (CEF) Holiday Bear Project, you can brighten the holidays for a child who would otherwise go without gifts this year.
“Every year, our members, our staff, and civic-minded organizations open up their hearts to some of our neediest students across Connecticut,” says CEA Vice President and CEF President Tom Nicholas. “This year, because of COVID-19, many more families have experienced job loss, illness, or food and housing insecurity. The Holiday Bear Project will help bring much needed joy and relief to those families and children.”
Due to Covid-19, the traditional Holiday Bear Project has been revised into a virtual program this year where each child will receive a $50 gift card in a holiday box. The Connecticut Post Mall and iHeartCommunities have teamed up to raise cash donations to support the Holiday Bear Program.
Please consider making a donation today.
