Thanks to funding from President Biden’s American Rescue Plan, children 18 and younger plus one accompanying adult can visit more than 90 museums around Connecticut for free now through September 6.
The initiative is part of Governor Lamont’s efforts to use federal funds to help connect students with enriching experiences this summer.
Participating locations include art and children’s museums, historical sites, zoos, aquariums, and science centers.

The program is only open to children and adults who are Connecticut residents, (proof of residency may be required). Tickets may sell out in advance, so visit museum websites to make a reservation several days before a planned trip to ensure that you’ll be able to visit.
