On the latest episode of CEA’s podcast, Two T’s in a Pod, CEA President Kate Dias and Vice President Joslyn DeLancey discuss their own reactions to election outcomes and how other educators and labor union members might think about the election results.
“There are lots of different emotions around this election, and knowing when you need to tap out and step away is really important,” says DeLancey.
Dias says her own plan is to “focus forward.”
She says, “We’re going to need each other, and we must focus on the things that we have in common. The only way we can secure good results is if we participate.”
“We need to maintain productive, proactive conversations that include reflection and then action,” DeLancey adds.
