Building Representatives are the backbone of every local union. You are the first point of contact for members in your school, the trusted person they turn to with questions, concerns, and ideas. Whether it’s supporting colleagues through workplace challenges, communicating important updates, or fostering a strong union presence within your building, the work you do directly shapes the strength and success of your association.
The Building Rep Academy is designed to give you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to carry out this vital role. Each session focuses on practical strategies and real-world scenarios so that you can better advocate for your colleagues, solve problems effectively, and ensure members feel supported and connected. By investing in your leadership, we strengthen the entire union.
All workshops are held virtually from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
