CEA is looking for a teacher who advances the profession of public education, engages community members, improves and refines their education practice, and never loses sight of meeting the needs of students regardless of their values, cultures, skin color, or the languages they speak.
CEA’s representative will participate in the NEA Foundation’s Annual Salute to Excellence in Education Gala, traditionally held in Washington, D.C. Five individuals at the gala will become Horace Mann finalists, which comes with a $10,000 award, and one grand prize winner will receive $25,000.
We want Connecticut to be represented at the NEA Foundation Gala. Please nominate yourself or that special individual who comes to mind.
