Nearly 200 aspiring and early career educators—along with veteran colleagues—attended CEA’s Early Career Educator Conference where CEA President Kate Dias emphasized, “Teaching is done best when it’s done in community,” urging participants, “Think of this as a launching pad.”
A priority bill for teachers, SB 381, has made it out of the Education Committee, and now we need Appropriations Committee members to act to approve our issues and send the bill on to the full legislature.
