Join teachers from around the state this July for interactive sessions and networking opportunities.
The Empowered to Lead Symposium, an annual event hosted by the Connecticut Teacher of the Year Council, provides opportunities for teacher-leaders, administrators, and other educators to articulate and enhance their collective power, expertise, and experience. The theme of this year’s symposium is “The Power of Partnerships.”
The event takes place Monday, July 7, at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and attendees can choose from a variety of sessions that promote the sharing of ideas and resources, innovative strategies and solutions, and collaborative discourse and practices geared toward elevating our profession.

- Beth Regan, “Morning Deer,” Chairwoman and Justice of the Mohegan Tribal Council of Elders
