We are shocked and deeply saddened by the tragic death of State Representative Quentin “Q” Williams. He was a thoughtful, compassionate legislator who always took time to meet with his constituents.
Quentin cared deeply for his community and was a strong advocate for children, teachers, and education. He was also a friend to labor and unions. We were looking forward to working with him as the new chair of the legislature’s Labor and Public Employees Committee.
He will be missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts are with his family and colleagues in the General Assembly.
