With COVID rates now higher than we’ve ever seen in Connecticut, it’s been an extremely challenging first school week of 2022. Many teachers are reporting inadequate staffing in schools and insufficient numbers of N95 masks and COVID test kits.
CEA leaders have been speaking out in the media and with state policymakers to draw attention to what is happening in schools. To continue our efforts to make schools safer, we need to hear from you.
Please take a few minutes to complete a survey, and share what you are seeing in your school so that we can continue to press for changes.
CEA has joined with other Board of Education employee unions to survey our members so we can get the word out about what’s really happening in schools. Please take the short survey and encourage your colleagues to take the survey, too.
Your responses will remain anonymous, unless you provide your contact information in the final question.
The survey closes Monday morning, so don’t wait.
Thank you to all educators for all you are doing during this unprecedented crisis and for sharing your thoughts on how the pandemic continues to impact you, your students, and your school community.
