As the weather turns colder and you think about the upcoming festive season, consider brightening a child’s holiday by contributing to the Connecticut Education Foundation’s (CEF) Holiday Bear program.
Holiday Bear provides gifts for children who have been nominated by their teachers because their families are facing financial or other hardships.
“Children of all ages have been nominated, and their teachers have come up with wish lists for them,” says CEF President and CEA Vice President Joslyn DeLancey.
“We’re really excited for Holiday Bear this year,” she continues. “We worked with a lot of social workers to make sure all families were included.”
Your donation helps the program provide gifts to more children around Connecticut.
