“Politicians need to be reminded: There’s 43,000 of us, and we all vote,” said CEA-Retired member Lisa Tryon who joined dozens of other active, retired, and aspiring CEA members at the State Capitol for CEA Lobby Day to make sure legislators heard teacher priorities loud and clear.

As scores of educators prepared to meet with lawmakers this afternoon in a #RedForEd day of action to push for key education measures, CEA held a press conference outside the State Capitol to articulate those priorities and the need for both passage and funding.
