Mark your calendars for Friday, October 24, and join fellow educators and supporters at the third annual CEA Celebrates Gala, an evening dedicated to honoring 177 years of advocacy and support for the teaching profession. The event will be held at Anthony’s Ocean View in New Haven, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
Hosted by the Connecticut Education Foundation (CEF)—the charitable branch of the Connecticut Education Association—this special evening features a cocktail reception, dinner, dancing, awards, and a silent auction. All funds raised will benefit CEF’s impactful programs, including college scholarships, holiday gifts and essentials for children in need, and emergency aid for teachers facing serious illness or crisis.
Local associations are invited to show their support by becoming Gold or Silver Apple Sponsors, which includes a reserved table and recognition in the event’s program booklet.
Do you have connections with local businesses? Encourage them to support public education by becoming event sponsors or purchasing ad space in the program booklet to recognize the work of educators.
Individual tickets are also available—so whether you’re attending with a group or coming solo, you’re welcome to join us.
It’s a night of celebration for a great cause—we hope to see you there!
