At CEA’s urging, the Connecticut State Department of Education hosted a series of in-person CT-SEDS Fix It Forums across the state in March for special education teachers.
From technical issues to inadequate training, the rollout of CT-SEDS this school year has been a nightmare for special education teachers and related service providers.
As a follow up to these sessions, and for any teachers who couldn’t attend the in-person meetings, the Department is hosting a one-hour Zoom webinar on May 4 at 4:00 p.m., designed for participants to share their experiences with Connecticut’s new IEP and their use of the CT Special Education Data System (CT-SEDS).
The Department will present data collected during the first six sessions, and participants will also have an opportunity to offer suggestions for state-level training and support as well as suggestions for system enhancement.
